Substitute teachers provide the same level of academic instruction and classroom management as their full-time counterparts. An effective substitute teacher resume will highlight the applicant’s ability to successfully carry out the previous teacher’s curriculum or develop lesson plans in line with the school’s expectations. The resume should also demonstrate how the applicant’s unique skills and experience will improve the educational experience of the students he or she wishes to teach.
